For sale here in SoCal are upper and lower 930 valve covers, are they worth $60? And will they fit a 2.7? Thanx in advance
toolguy
good price and they will fit. . lowers will need machining to clear suspension ears. .

You may want to check the Pelican site: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopca..._ENGpis_pg5.htm

If they aren't warped, yes that is a good price.

Checked pelican, yeah well worth $60. Is there a way a novice can check for warping?
Cap'n Krusty
Sure. Put 2 of them back to back (or face to face, depending on how you look at it) and see if there's a gap anywhere. But you thought of that, right? 60 bucks is the cheap "apiece" price for the lowers ....................

Thank you gents, learn from you guys everyday. They are on craigslist down by you Toolguy, hope he will hold them till i can get down there.
toolguy
the lowers have been modified for a twin plug head. . not good for a normal 911 motor as it will let out the cooling air unless you can plug the holes. .
