When accelerating my accelerator gets stuck, the part that has the bar that attaches to the pedal is very wobbly.when i push down it gets stuck on the way up it catches on the tunnel,it looks as though the triangle piece that holds the bar is to loose and there doesn't seem a way to tighten it.I tried to take a picture but it's to dark ,any help would be appreciated
Thanks

This is something that happens often as the pedal bushings start to stick.

You need to replace the pivot section and I would rebuild the bushings while your at it!

When I fix them, I reinforce them. I bought some length of 8mm rod stock to make longer pivot shafts to allow for reinforcement.

But the rod is originally brazed in place. So if you clean all the brass off and weld it in place, it should be strong for a long long long time.
