Just curious about this - since aftermarket torsion bars for a /4 are hard to find, is it possible to swap out the torsion bar adjusters from a 911 to be able to use the corresponding t-bars without swapping a whole 911 suspension?

Remember that the same splines on the front end are part of the A-arm.

Aha, thanks Mark. Don't know how I forgot that. I've only had the torsion bars out once so I guess I forgot that very important detail smile.gif

Had them side by side the other night. Found out the very same thing.

I got my new torsion bars from Elephant and they had a wide selection of sway-a-way's with and without center bore for the /4. I dont think their website communicates well their available selection. Just ask for Chuck, he'll set you up.

You can get 911 A-arms. They'll bolt right on.

I have some BIG bars (22mm IIRC) for 914.
