I know this may be a long shot but I'm looking for the right side steel panel/face for a 6 (not the vinyl covering).

See the pictures below for clarification.

Let me know what you have.

Thanks!

Is it different from an early 914?

I would think so, but not 100% sure. The part number states that it's for a 914/6.

Bruce,

I'm 99% sure that they are the same. Its the left side that is different.

Added part numbers below. Even though the part numbers say DRIVERS SIDE, part 3 in the Porsche parts catalog is for the passenger side. There are 2 different part numbers for 914/6 and 914/4.

3 - 91455204310 cover centre
(UP TO YEAR 71, DRIVER SIDE) 1, 914-6

3 - 91455204510 cover centre
(UP TO YEAR 71, DRIVER SIDE) 1, 914-4

See if any of these work...

I tried Aase. They don't have the right side and don't expect to get it in as it's NLA. I purchased the left side from them. Thanks though.

It looks like the shape around the steering column is mote cut out on the -6. Maybe the 914 part could be cut out to match that shape. It would have to be a 71 or earlier with the larger glove box.
I do not have one but can check locally with a couple people.

Is it different from a 4?

Is it different from a 4?

Yes, it's different. The columns are different on a 6's and 4's. On the 6 there is the clam shell surround that the 4 doesn't have. The 4 has the key to the right side of the column where the 6 doesn't. On the 4 the L/R side plate is cut to fit around the column.
