what is it for,does it go on driver or passenger side?
Its the seat-belt warning buzzer contact.
I used to tell my kids when they were little that it was for the ejection seat. 
aren't they for the seat heaters/warmers? 
My LE has them on both sides & it was the 1st thing my Pop disconnected

It triggers the light on the dash which says:
FASTEN SEAT BELT. It superceded the original warning light that said:

I thought it was the 914's wallet probe scanning for monitary content - ?
