What do you want to do? Think of me as not thinking of the same thing and splain it to me a little better. Do you want to make vinyl lettering and stuff like that?

Uh...I meant vinyl records...music...man. To .wavs @.mp3s.
John
Well, you would need a computer with a soundcard (with a line-in jack), a turntable, and usually the software that comes with the soundcard will capture .WAV files.

Then you would need a .WAV to MP3 converter.... I think Music Match Jukebox can do that.

I've done this many times with Music Match Jukebox. It's worth registering and getting life time upgrades. Music Match will let you record straight to MP3 format. Record at 128 kbps.

You need a good sound card to get decent quality. Also, lots of hard drive space is needed if you plan on recording a lot of records.

If you have any questions I have a lot experience in audio and video production and editing and would be glad to help.

Ok, thanks guys. I'll get to Googling!

Henry...thanks for noting that verse from James. Good reminder. IPB Image

INWIA is my wife's and my life motto. It is on the license plate of my wife's Suburban. We have two birth children (20 and 18 years old) and have adopted 3 more (13, 5 and 2 years old). Have also worked with birth through 6th grade kids in the U.S. for about 25 years (22 years professionally) and traveled to Russia 5 times to work with kids in hospitals, orphanages, etc.

My biggest claim to fame is I was Carlos Boozer's (Utah Jazz) second grade teacher.

Sorry for the high jack, but I believe that being a positive influence in the life of kids is the most important and gratifying thing any one can do with their life.
