I went to the SF Hot Rod Show yesterday with my older daughter's boyfriend. His father has been working on a '41 Chevy hot rod for three years and this was the first showing. While there we looked at lots of other cars and I shot a few pics to post.

Some of the skills people possess are truly remarkable. The paint and body work on these cars is flawless. The car without paint is even better. The vision, determination and ability to build these cars is amazing.

This is a beautiful example of elegance in simplicity. The metalwork was flawless. The engine is in the back. 4 cyl, transverse mounted.

Ya, it was being built on the last "American Hotrod" Not the Aluma roadster though, just a woody.

I like watching it for the ideas, other than that... IPB Image

Last episode was the 'quitting episode' and I'm not surprised. Boyd's idea of company fun is getting the employees to work overtime to finish a personal project in a rediculous amount of time. Pays to have the car shipped to Hawaii, mucho $$ to the suppliers, and screws those under his roof.

Anyways, great pics Carl. IPB Image
