I want to make up a power bleeder for bleeding my brakes. I have scew on caps for a number of different resevoirs, but none that are compatible with the 914 reservoir. Is there an alternate cap that I can use that's readily available (VW part, food jar, or whatever)?

Thanks,

You basically need to presurize the reservoir at low pressure (10-15psi is what I use) so that you can bleed the fluid without the need to have someone pump the brake pedal. For an air pressure source, I have used a garden pump-up spray tank with a regulator/gauge, or a direct compressed air supply, but be careful....I use a redundant system to guard against a mistake.
