Was driving west on Stateline Rd. south of Memphis Int'l Airport last Wednesday afternoon, around 2:50, and saw a red 914 coming the opposite direction. Caught me completely by surprise...only see one in the wild every year or two. Tried to give the 914 wave, but my window was up, but I did manage to honk. I was in my Jeep, so he probably didn't notice.

Why didn't you let me know you were in Memphis, we could have met up.

Was a quick trip for a funeral...my family lives in MS, and I was picking up a cousin at the airport. Was wondering if that was you. All I saw was sideburns. Actually I was thinking when I was driving into Memphis that it'd be cool to meet you, since you're the only 914 person I really know of in the area.
