Do 205/60 x 15 tires on 2.0 Fuchs fit stock wheel wells? Or, should I go 195/65 x 15?
Also, tire recommendations for a stock street car?

I run 205/50/15. I think I put 205/60/15 on Betsy, you will have to ask T.C.

Yes, 205/60 on stock Fuchs
will should fit. There are variations in clearance from one 914 to another. I have run that size tire on several different 914s with no issues.

They did on my car when I ran them years ago with yoko A008's. Tiny bit of rub from the fronts when wheel was turned full lock.

I would imagine they fill the wheel well quite nicely?

I’ve been running 205x65-15 with stock Fuchs on the rear without any problems…

I've had Pirelli, Michelin, Fulda, Falken and BFG all in 205/60. No rear clearance issues, rubbed front wheel well at full lock.

The 205s should fit many, but not all, 914s. A number of cars will need the fender lip folded up on one or both rear fenders to make them fit.
They will rub the inner front fender aft of the shock absorber when you turn the steering wheel to full lock, but since you don't tend to do that when "at speed" it's not much of a worry.

I run 195/60-15 in front and 205/65-15 in the rear to fill the wheelwell and give me a little more runout for cruising with no rubbing- gives it a little more rake too. Happy motoring!

I run 205 60's, Bridgestone Potenza's, no problems and I like them. Street driving, they are quiet, grip well if spirited driving and seem to be wearing well.

<_<What size tire on mahle stock wheels ? Looks as 205 60 15 is very close to stock tires I would like 205 60 15 rear and 195 60 15 front ? Is that a bad idea?
