So I bought this 1970 914 with por 15 on the floors. I want to take the body down to metal so I was planning on soda blasting it. I think soda blasting would make it really nice but what about the por 15? Would dry ice blasting work better?
Thanks,
Buck

Unless the POR is peeling up, leave it be.

If applied properly, it has a tenacious grip. If applied poorly it just peels off the metal. If yours is not peeling, blast the body but leave the pans alone.

The above advice assumes that the pans are solid, not swiss cheese.

Try to scrape it off first, it usually doesn't adhere much, especially if the metal underneath wasn't cleaned properly ...

I agree, if it is well bonded, leave it be.

Por-15 makes a stripper that they sell by the gallon.

Works great on Por-15 and the factory undercoat.
