I see that the Ga engines put out 95hp with a 7.6 to 1 cr. The GC has the same cr but less horse power. I assume it is due to emissions crap. The Gb has a 100hp and a 8.0 to 1 cr. They all used d-jet. Can I get my GC engine to be like a GB engine and how do I do it?

1.) Back date to '73 - '74 exhaust system.

2.) Plug air injection holes.

You now have a '73 - '74 engine.

I believe the cases are all the same. Compression ratio, heads, exhaust & ECU tuning were changed. Even the 1.7 & 1.8 cases were the same as the 2.0. Just stamped with the appropriate code for hat it was built out to.

check the "914 Info" link at the top of every page.

If the case spec's out, make it into whatever you want.

Keep us posted.

GB case designates the euro engine with higher compression for a bit more power. You can get euro P/C kits.
