I recently found a 1993 Concept Boxster brochure given out at the Detroit Auto Show in June 1993. I forgot it was in my Archive files and my grandkids almost sold it last week at our PCA Swap Meet for $1 dollar.
I still have it.
Interesting changes with today's 2014 Boxster.

This was before the accountants got a hold of it!

I had that same brochure from Detroit as well. It may very well turn up at Mom's house in MI someday, but likely it got tossed long ago.

OK, I was contracted to make the roll bar you see in the photo for this car around 1993. I made the dies and bender to make an arched tube from pillar to pillar. It's a 928 Roadster. Hmmm... Looks surprisingly similar.

Yep, it cost too much.
I would have loved to seen the original concept car's engine internals.

IIRC, there was no engine in the concept car.
