I noticed my rear trunk isn't latching when I close the trunk. Does anyone have one in good condition?

Looking for the part that attaches to the trunk

It us more often the upper latch that is the problem.
The stem wears and the D shaped hole into which it inserts wears and allows it to rotate. Also the notch in the stem wears. Unbolt the top latch and see if you can find the problem.

Edit. You posted while I was typing. I have refinished upper latches. They use a more durable metal cup on the stem.
