Finally got the replacement nut for the gas tank connector , i got a new screen but the seals are listed as nla at the p place, any has a suggestion for flaps part, can I just use gasket paper?? o-rings?? , after that the car will run without the red thigny attached to the back,,,, IPB Image IPB Image

I tried and tried to find this part...no luck. I ended up going down to my local flaps, got the thickest sheet of gasket material that could be used when in contact with gasoline without deteriorating and made my own. Nice tight fit and hasn't leaked yet (going on 1 year now).

Just put some liquid teflon on it and bolt it up....we don't need no stinking gaskets!

copper crush washer will work if you can find the right size
