Bruce, I received my packet today, thanks. Interesting discovery on the torsion bar adjusting screws; they are different! One is 55 mm and the other is 58 mm long. Same thread pitch and same thread length. The longer of the two has a longer neck, and matches the picture of the adjusting screw Stoddard shows on their parts board with the part #911.341.115.00. My parts book shows part #914.341.115.00 for all years & models of 914s.

I've attached some pictures to show you. Long story short (no pun intended) do you have a 58 mm adjusting screw, plated, that you could sell me so I have a matched set?

I have a 914-6 and checking the parts book shows that the torsion bar adjusting arms have the same part number as a 911 and the 914-4 has a different part number. This is a new one on me.

I'll PM you, as well.

Best,

Gary

Hi Gary & Bruce,

I found the matching set.

Bruce, I purchased a set of 911/914-6 torsion bar adjusters and screws from you early this year. They were clear zinc plated. I went to install them this weekend and found the adjuster screws are a different length. I recalled reading this post months ago. Seems as though I have the matching set to Gary's set.

No problem! Any excuse to see SB. I grew up in OC and spend many weekends in Santa Barbara. Love it there.
