Hi All,

Am WAS looking for a 70-75 1.7, 1.8, or 2.0 with a purchase budget of ~$2500.

My 16 year old has been taking his shop classes, keeping his grades up and really want to learn to weld, do bodywork, etc.

We found a pretty darn good deal with Reno Roger, but wife weighed in on her concern for safety of 16 year old driving a car like this with ancient safety systems (or rather "no" safety systems).

Looks like we'll be looking at late 90's MOOSTangs....

Thanks Everyone...

Brian

We are in Sonoma County and would love to eyeball the car before renting the trailer....

But I just happen to have a trailer today (Saturday, 04/26) and cash.

Please call me if you have a project you are motivated to sell

If you are still looking, I have one you might be interested in: 1973 2.0, bone stock with all the goodies as standard equipment, absolutely complete, nothing missing. It definitely needs paint, small dent in left front fender. It's been in my garage for 13 years and hasn't been run for about 8 years. I bought it from a guy in Elko, Nevada, high desert area, structurally sound, good restoration candidate. 775-747-2019.

Sounds like a great deal.... and Reno is a half-day drive.
