'71 1.7 starts easy and idles smooth at 900 when cold. Once it warms up, the idle hunts constantly. If I block the AAR inlet, the idle stops hunting and returns to a smooth 900rpm idle.

Is my AAR stuck open?

Probably stuck. Take it off and bench test. I used PB Blaster to loosen up the insides.

Honestly, I can't remember. It was the first time I've tried to start her since replacing all the fuel lines. She starts better than ever before. piratenanner.gif
