I can put this here or in the "What did you do to your 914 today" thread. If I may hijack, I'll put it here.
This is a -6 project I bought that was supposedly complete...Well you know how that goes. After two years of complete disassembly I'm now getting close to having the engine back in.
I found the original fuel pump wire and cleaned it up. It has a small break in the insulation that I will at least tape, tho I may put new aftermarket connectors on it. I'll decide later.
Click to view attachmentIt came with a Facet fuel pump. From the connectors on the pump, it was hooked to the coil or something as they definitely weren't the right ones for the stock fuel pump leads. And I have a trashed wiring harness that I steal wires and bulbs from. I'll take a brown wire from it to use for my ground.
And here's that wire with new ends soldered on and heat shrink added.
