I got some new center caps for my 76 teener, but they don't fit over the front bearing caps. Was told I needed to get some smooth Brazilian aftermarket caps without the bump outs. Where does one purchase those?
Thanks LD

If you got the wheel caps from me they should fit I clearanced mine for the stock dust caps as I have 75's. The only atermarket dust caps I have found are the same clearance as the ones I have. I'd be interested to see if there is another option.

I did not Mikey, I asked a couple of times here if anyone had them. I sure would have! They are AEC 2.0 repops. Do your caps have that nub that sticks out on one side?
The dust caps I have on mine have a square hole punched in the center. There is no nub sticking up. They were available at the local VW parts store for a few bucks. About $6 if I recall correctly.

Makes me feel old because I know exactly what that square hole is for, and I recall hating it more than a few times on many cars....

Beetle speedo drive, hole should only be on the drivers side cap
Smooth Brazilian sounds like some kind of porn or a bar drink .
