Figured I would get off my lazy butt and post this as I told you guys I would, new motor has been in for a couple months now.

Should have sanded the plating down a bit, even with bare metal primer it chips easier then I would like

some more tweaks, opened up a 1.8 plenum to 52mm, used with a modified 2.1 Vanagon TB should flow a bit better smile.gif (should have taken more pics of all this)

I still have a bunch more tuning to do, and I have not yet switched my megasquirt input circuit over to use the new trigger wheel, but all things considered I think its doing pretty well.

It fixes the one thing I had a problem with my hydro lifter 2L that it replaced, which was the ability to rev over 4800 RPMs. According to my datalogs during tuning I have already spun it to 6400RPM at which point I backed off given the AA pistons but the motor felt like it could have pulled more. Really curious as to what camshaft wound up in this thing.

Not sure the exact valve size either, but its got dual springs.
