I salvaged a drivers side strut to replace the one on my car (which has a nice sawzall gash barf.gif ) and figgered I'd replace the ball joint. Or maybe not, it seems fine. Had to remove the buggered bolt, and just looked on PP for replacement... Seriously, $26 bones for a lock pin and nut?

Am I missing something here? blink.gif OK, I admit, I'm a CSOB, but bs.gif

Yup. sheeplove.gif

Whatever you do don't over torque it. Think about paying that kind of money for a $2 part and then snapping it in half. headbang.gif

I just replaced both sides on the race car as a maintenance item

the factory torque seemed way to high... around 35lbs if I recal
I got to 26ish lbs with a good torque wrench and was afraid to go more
