Anyone here managed to keep their Vitaloni Tornado mirrors to stay upright?

Mine do not have have enough friction in the ball/cup connector and rotate with little force.

The drivers side will start falling down around 75 on a cold day and 60 on a hot day.
The passenger side is even worse, it won't stay up over 30.

Both mirrors are BRAND NEW !!!

I have the baby tornados Andy. Had the same problem. I got the screw as tight as I could then reinstalled them and placed them where I wanted. Very gently took them off with out moving them, turned them so the screw faced up and poured epoxy around the screw and socket. Hasn't moved since. I think that was in the eightys. Don't remember much of it. Lol
