Can anyone assist by letting me know the size of the inlet and outlet ports.
I am installing a replacement Bosch pump 69133 the inlet port is 1/2" and I need some reducers or what not to install. I don't have the normal 3/8 supply line on my car. My supply and return is 5/16.

Let me know if you happen to know the size of the filter or other idea to reduce from 1/2 to 5/16 line.

Plumbing supplies at your favorite hardware store. They will have reducers, and you can get barbed fittings that the hoses will not come off of.

That's the correct fuel filter. 8mm on the inlet end, 12mm (NOT 1/2"!) on the outlet. All the places where you SHOULD be shopping for 914 parts have 'em. You'll need an appropriate piece of 12mm fuel hose, also available from those same places. (I prefer GPR.) The VW number is 133 133 511.

The Cap'n
