Had seen another post regarding what tool needed to remove cover from relief valve and remembered that one of my engine blocks didn't seem to have this cap.
On closer look i see that my GA 2.0L block (unpainted) used on 73 & 74 models has this cap with the 20 point "allen" socket. Then i looked at my GC 2.0L block (RED) and there is no cap, just a deep plug pressed in.
Question, is this standard, or has some PO modified the GC block. It had been fitted with an external oil cooler controlled by a thermostatically opened sandwich adapter under the oil filter. See photos.
