I picked this car up today. I'm having buyers remorse despite not paying a dime. Not sure what I can salvage. It does have an engine and tranny.

I was also offered another one that I'm contemplating picking up.

i've see a lot worse starting points! Congrats on the find!

A lot of great parts on that car for guys doing resto's. It's a bit of work but I can see stuff I'd save/grab!!!

Bumpers, targa top, fog lights, hardware, glass and the list goes on and on. If you don't have the time or want to gut it I'm sure you could get a good group in your area to take it apart and save those parts.

You can never have too many parts. I can use the fog lights.

You will be surprised how many parts you will pick off that car. Score!

And don't forget to add it to the VIN database!

I'll give you $10 for the FI if it's still there! See, make you $10 richer.

I sent you a pm, Rick.

In all seriousness there are some useable parts on the car and it's brother that I'll pick up in the next week or two. Now I just need to figure out how to get it off the trailer. The tires are all beyond repair and I lost my ramps anyway...
Woody
Interesting way to strap it down to the trailer. Whatever works. beerchug.gif

I hope to tear into the car in the next few weeks. Once I get a chance I'll give those who said they want a part first chance at it.

I ended up dropping the car at a storage spot I have and made a trip back there today. Adventure number one was getting the car with four flat tires off of the trailer. Once off the trailer I started poking around. I'm not sure what it has for an engine. Can anyone tell by the picture?

Where in MN did you find them? There are only a few left that haven't dissolved!
rick 918-S
when do we get to see the other one? Can I see it first? shades.gif

Cool find! Definitely a lot of parts there worth saving. I could use an uncracked orange turn signal cover. smile.gif
