Full Version: Brake light switch at pedal install question
On my 73 I've just rebuilt pedal cluster.question about switch activating arm .im not exactly sure if it sits behind or in front or the arm to master cylinder.looking for a picture
It sits on the "wrong" side. The obvious way to put it together is wrong. I believe that the washer on the pushrod pushes the switch until you press the pedal.
Give it a try; if the brake lights come on with the ignition switch on you have the switch on the wrong side of the washer.
