Going to be fitting a new rear trunk lid to my car,is there a way of getting the bar's on and of the roller's with out taking my finger's of ,hope this make's sence

You don't need to take the tension off the hinges to replace the deck lid. In fact, it's easier if you don't. You would, however, benefit from having an assistant. I place a few layers of shop towels in the corners where the lid might touch the body during the procedure to lessen the chances of marring the paint.
