For what it's worth, there is a nice used set on Ebay for $2200, which is not a bad price at all for OE exchangers for a Six. . I've seen excellent used to NOS ones sell for $4000 to 5000. . another one of the real six parts that you just have to step up to the plate and pay the price if you want to play. .
Seems like a real opportunity for an aftermarket maker to make $$$. . surprising our friend in Atlanta hasn't taken up this project as real one just don't exist anymore. .
High tooling cost, expensive part, limited market, liability, ect. Would take a lot of sales to make your money back, let alone a profit.
