hi,

73 1.7 fuel tank was not in car when purchased, so I have no images.

I have cleaned inside and now painting tank, expansion, canister and fuel tank

funnel thing.

so..........I can not figure out how the sending unit connects .. there

are no wires that I can see in the tank area that would hook up to the unit.

I really could use an image of the wires in place and where it routes.

I have searched for images here and else where on line.

thanks again

There is a plastic black square female plug with the same number of wires as you have male contacts on the sending unit. Somewhere on either side of the foot well under the dash. push it back through the hole if needed, remember to use a gromet.

thank you for the image and the info.

sucks being me some times.........I kinda thought that I had reached

around back behind the brown air tube for any wires.

it was hiding from me, sucked up next to the brown air tube.

this is what I worry about doing...... asking for help and it ends

up that I messed up.....

thanks again

Don't worry about messing up. A lot of people are willing to help here and many like me have messed up more than care to admit.
