I decided to install brad's outer long kit to stiffen my longs, what a great product ! The quality is near perfection.

I had them on my 3.6 conversion, before it got ripped off!

I'll see if I need them on the LS conversion or not. If so, I don't think I am going to use the part where you jack it up, just tote along a rolller jack.

I have Brad's kit on my conversion car, and it really did stiffen up the car wonderfully. For the weight penalty, I think it's well worth it. Adding some inner longitudinal stiffeners (like the Engman kit) as well would be an excellent idea if you wanted to do an overkill stiffening of the chassis.

I cut little windows on the sill right above the vertical ribs and weld a bead there at the top

does that just over lay ? just remove your rocker panels ??

It looks like you have to remove the ribs, that the hoses go through.
Do you also have to remove the jack mount or does it lay over it?

Both mentioned ribs and jack mount comes off. The set comes with new jack post .
