Hadn't seen it mentioned here,
Impresses with alternate power choice,

What a great idea.

A trident badge is fitting.

the TT stands for Twin Turd. Ever worked on a BI-turbo ? Biggest P.O.S. I have ever had the displeasure of dirtying my beaters on dry.gif IIRC it was a 6 hour job to replace the steering pump. About 3-4 of which was removing that pile of shit tissue box they put on the carb to create a pressure chamber headbang.gif

We are not alone, this idea of creation of the chariot.
I imagine the username filmwatch has envisioned such a sound and
performance from his Maserati powered 914.

What could possibly be wrong with a Maserati V6 into 914?
Light alloy TT,all it would need is some tlc and modern fueling and ignition
control.Add intercooling and direct injection and additives..and so on.
But a good beginning.Unusual, unique and certainly a simpler install than many others i've seen.
On the other side of the coin..

Would a Maserati V6 BiTurbo fit more economically into this rather than the Ferrari?
Sure.But..

Ferrari designers began work on the first Dino V6 engine in 1956 and the engine was running by the end of the year.[1] The engine displaced 1489 cc. This engine was installed in the Ferrari 156 F2 car and was first raced in the Grand Prix of Naples in April 1957, where it finished in third place behind two Lancia-Ferrari V8 Formula One cars.[1][2]
