We will be designing the engine and transaxle mounting bars for the current build (5L V8 w/gt2 trans), and wanted to see what some of you have experienced on the mounts.
Combination flexible mounts at the engine, and solid mounts out at the trans ?
This has worked good for my past (big hp) experience, but some say to go all solid mount now.
This car will be over 1,000 hp, track only...Some cars+coffee (still street registered).
What are some of your experiences ?Click to view attachment

I bought the less expensive option for rear mounts from pp. They are the same ones that Patrick motorsports offers. Big black rubber block and cross plate.
And I have been debating welding a cross member that would bolt into the trans mounts and loop down below the tailcone.
I love jacking up the rear of the car by the intermediate plate but it scares me a little.
The bar would be made to support the weight of the car with no chance of slipping off.
Maybe I can incorporate tie downs in the same bar for the trailer
