The starter shaft/gear teeth look worn to me on the ends, or is this normal? No issues with the starter engaging the flywheel, but I don't want to wear out my new flywheel prematurely. Does this starter look ok, or should I be looking for a replacement?

I'm new to Porsches, but the picture looks OK to me. It has to have a small bevel on the teeth to help it engage with the flywheel teeth. If it doesn't have burrs on the teeth and isn't rounded off, I'd say it was OK.

They are fine. That's normal wear.
