hi,

well, this is as far as it is, at least the engine.

waiting on vacuum hoses with a diagram.

what would be the best way to proceed with the vacuum hoses?? any tips

as to the order of installation, routing?

the spark plug wires are new/used, I like blue, anyway they do seem to be

a bit long? will that be a problem?

thanks again

Length of wires is not a problem--as long as they don't wind up getting caught in anything. For instance, if that #1 wire was a couple of feet longer, it might fall into the fan and get wrapped up there. But as it is, it's probably fine.

As for hose routing, just get them from where they go to where they go and don't worry a whole lot about where exactly they fall. Again, make sure they don't get caught in anything (like the throttle linkage?). And don't make them bend super-tight so they collapse when under vacuum.

you certainly need to route them and everything else while the engine is out of the car.

IIRC I probably routed everything 3 or four times. You would get to the last connection on the FI harness and it would be too short to reach and need to be re-done.

I tried it close to the case, away from the case, Under the intakes, over the intakes. There is probably a factory way, but it is yours now. Just screw up and start over, you'll get it. beerchug.gif

Look thru Jeff Bowlsby's TECH NOTEBOOK for more info and pictures.

thanks for your reassuring replies.

hopefully the "cartoon" from AA with the vacuum line kit will

be easily comprehended by this rookie.

I am thinking that I should go ahead and run the fuel lines from the

ends of the ss lines to all the injectors. is there a diagram for this.

I don't have images for how mine was routed.

tks again

Check the link to the diagrams on Pelican; those show you how the fuel hoses go. They do not go straight to the injectors...
