This past Sunday I had an autocross in my 996.

So, Saturday evening I was getting everything prepped and ready.

The 914 was in the garage. There's a shelf in the garage where I keep my helmets.

%$!&@!.... While getting down a helmet, I dropped it right onto the hood of the 914! Left a half-dollar sized pock mark.

Took it to a paintless dent removal guy today and he fixed it. $100.

What a bonehead move!!! Is there an award for that?

Anyway, there were about five 914s at the autocross. This one was pretty cool:

better that than a spray can of red? paint that goes off when it hits the concrete floor. happened to a member a long time ago.

No award. There is a $100 fine though...

Hope there weren't any kids around cause I know you dropped a few F bombs. I can laugh because I've managed to make a few new dents myself. Fortunately for me, my neighbor owns a dentless biz so we always trade off.
