surface its self is dull but the texture is fine, seems like just a satin black respray would be all it needs - i just put in a new headliner, and thought it would be nice to spruce this up on the outside too - Octeenerfest is coming up fast!!!

Your plan sounds good; I bought a small can of black boat-stripe paint at my local West Marine store. Then rolled it on with a foam roller. Looks really good and has been on several years

I used some pre-paint cleaner and just cleaned mine, it really made a difference.
