Hi all, is there a way to put a tee in the stock idiot light sender location by the distributor and use it for multiple senders, and not install a taco plate? Thanks

I wouldn't think there would be enough volume of oil at the pressure port to use to get an accurate temp. Cap'n? When the oil is in the sump/bottom of the case, the temp sensor is immersed in the hot oil; maybe several quarts (fill is ~4 qts so I'd guess at least 2.5 maybe 3 qts). That sump oil has just gone through the lubrication system and is carrying the heat. Just a rambling, not an expert ...

What Jim said! The pressure port will be single ended, there will be no flow of oil through the line. In fact if you have really good connections, you may actually be reading the pressure of an air bubble in the pressure line. The pressure reading will still be as accurate as the sensor/gauge used because the air will compress to a pressure balancing the pressure of the oil forcing its way into the tube or fittings. The temperature sensor however must be immersed in the fluid it is measuring in order to get reasonably accurate results.
