What is the quickest and easiest way to change the front torsion bars.
Jack up the front of the car, unbolt the end caps and take them out.
They often get stuck in the spline area in the front. I drive the bar further in to pop out the cap in the front of the A arm then use a big punch to drive them back the other way. That also allow you to clean the splined area of old grease and rust. The cap can be reused in most cases. If not Stoddard carries them. Same as early 911.
