Full Version: Will Elephant Quick Change give more adjustment?

I have had for years the typical aluminum camber plates, I think they are the Tarrett ones but they look like the same design as this Elephant (left side):

The adjustment is limited by the 914's metal 'lip' which hits the raised portion of
the part. Question is, will the Elephant 'Quick Change' (right side) allow for more
adjustment or will it just hit the same place (i.e. the beefy part under the nut is
the same diameter?). Does anybody have first-hand knowledge of the answer?
I can contact elephant but I'm not sure they have checked this on 914 vs. 911.
Or maybe the strut opening 'lip' is identical for early 911 and 914?

Inquiring minds want to know

Thanks

If I remember right, the offset ones from Rennline looked like they would give the most.

Thanks I just checked there any they say the boss is smaller. I guess I have to
figure out if the allen bolts will still limit it about the same.

Call Chris at Tangerineracing.com. He'll be honest and tell you what he uses, even if it's not one of his own products. Not sure what he uses for the front shock towers, but he used to have his own proprietary solution for the rears.
