I agree with his logic...

If you just poured the beer on the snow and it did not work as predicted, you were doomed to die pissed off and thirsty...

Wereas if you drink the beer and piss, it doesnt work , you really dont give a shit and just sit back in the car and finish the rest of the beer...die happy.

Actually, technically, he was pouring the beer on the snow! He just filtered, and warmed it through his kidneys first! I like how he said his kidneys and liver hurt afterwards!
