This is my first 914.
I am attempting to remove the cable starting at the inside of the interior and ive stared at it for a bit with no idea how to remove it. Its not broken and I would like to keep it that way.

Start at the other end. Release cable from the latch, pull from interior.

Engine lid release? The knob screws off the cable.
