A long time friend has a 1972 914 that he would like to sell. Car is a decent daily driver. It has been converted to side shift, front struts converted to '73. It is not a rust free car, but is useable as-is. It is a long-term project, that is drivable now. The owner purchased the car from a friend of his about 10 or more years ago but does not have much history on the car. This was my friend's daily driver for some time, until his family's health concerns necessitated a bigger car. The 914 became neglected. It has not run for several months, and needs a battery. The original 1.7l engine was replaced with a used, unknown but running engine when the 1.7l swallowed a valve 7-8 years ago. This car is offered as-is.
