Hey guys,
I'm new and have a 914 in the shop and have never worked on these before. I am trying to get through a crash course on these cars so I can help get this running for my father in law...I have been staring at the engine and not being used to air cooled FI engines, I am just getting confused on how/where everything is.

Is there a detailed (birds eye view) of a 1.7 anywhere? I say some of the stuff on Pelican, and it is helpful, but I am looking for something that includes all the engine parts and lines.

I have tried the search function but am still getting used to the search functions and would love a little direction.

Thanks and have a killer day.

spend a solid month reading all areas of this site and you will find what your looking for one way or another

also you will want to remove the flooring tar on your red beauty I see possible rust issues you can stop now.
YMMV
