I'm looking for a link to an engine size calculator (in cc's) that shows all possible combinations of cc's based upon different crank and piston sizes for a Type IV.

I've seen this matrix several times on the web, but can't find it today.

ArtechnikA
engine displacement == cylinder displacement * number of cylinders
cylinder displacement == area of cylinder * stroke
area of cylinder == pi * r**2 (3.1415926535 * (diameter/2 * diameter/2)

eg: 80mm bore, 66mm stroke, 6 cyl
radius of bore 40mm
r**2 == 1600
* pi == 5026.5
* stroke == 331752
* cylinders == 1990513

that's cubic mm -- divide by 1000 for cc

I also have an extensive one that I worked on with Brad that calculated all sorts on things.

How do you attach an excel file.

Oops. The Excel file don't download right, so I whacked the post.

The formula is

=3.1415*({bore in mm}/10/2)^2*{stroke in mm}A2/10*4
