Looks like The Bird can still source NEW PORSCHE Tanks?

Also is the Patrick Motorsports Tank the Vellios Tank that reportedly has fitment problems?

Thanks
John

The PMS tank I thought it was a poor copy of the DWD tank confused24.gif

I have a DWD tank, they are no longer made, if you can find one grab it. Fits like stock, fittings are stock.

Thanks Mark..

I saw that Andy, but on his home page he has a note posted about parts no longer produced and sold.

But worth a call.

I might not want a barrel in the trunk......

I might not want a barrel in the trunk......

there is room where the relay board is/was for a 1 gallon tank.

It does not have to be the end all be all solution, but its a simple way to get everything in place and save you a couple grand this year, which you need to use on heat exchangers...

Alas,

Was reviewing the build budget, and though I desperately want heat, I think I will be running headers.

Maybe I will get one of those battery powered vests!

GT Racing's are looking pretty good to me.

On this quality of a build I doubt that would be in the cards. I'm cheap and I thought on doing this up to to making my own, in the end I chose to do a proper tank.
I waited for something to come up in the F/S forum and lucked out, I thought I was buying a PMS tank, but it ended up being a DWD tank.

I assume new will always be an option, so I will keep looking.

It happens, 3 tanks went up for sale when I got mine 2 years ago, all of them DWD tanks.
BTW this is the time (winter, just after the holidays) to have cash in hand and be cruising the classifieds several times a day.
wndsnd
And

I need a lot of stromberg.gif to happen!

Thanks Mark

BTW

To the Op: Your car is awesome. Good luck in your search.
Sorry for the. hijacked.gif

If this is what you want, I'll be happy to part with it. It looks like I won't be installing a six after all. sad.gif

Elliot PM sent.

Very sweet!! wub.gif

If I'm right that's an early DWD tank , with filler neck and console.
Only difference in later is mine is powder coated black.
It might not be OEM "correct" but to me it's a better than stock tank.
wndsnd
Cool,

Put me in line after the OP responds.

Don Welch of DW Motorsports answered an email and said that he did in fact stop manufacturing and there are none kicking around that he has access to.
