I am building 40mm webers on my 2,0 porsche 914 engine
The EFI had to many faults, and i like the sound from webers smile.gif

What do i need to do ?
I will put on new duel pump, and need to make some changes with throtle
and electrical ...but need good ideas ..
Also if some one has wirring diagram with the changes ...
Maybe links, or pictures ...

Please positive inputs...i know the EFI is better than webers , - When it works !

Thanks .. Lars

No wiring diagram, sorry, but once the FI harness is removed there's not much left in the engine harness that is FI related.

Also, get a rotary pump for your carbs and use the stock relay and wiring to power it:

There is *no* need to cut any of your existing wiring!

This pump works very well:

PPS: Where in Denmark are you? I have friends near Aarhus, one of them is heavily into old classic cars.

Thanks for your answer

It is just the things i have been looking for..
What about all the signals for the control Lamps and tacometer
Are they Not all in the wirring harness for the EFI ?
Do i have to leave all the wires on the engine ?

I live en the midle of Denmark, but know many people in Aarhus biggrin.gif

There are two harnesses, one dedicated to the FI (mostly white wires, goes to the brain, injectors, MPS and a few other places) and one called the engine harness, which has all the other wires, like tach etc.

You can simply remove the FI harness and tape up the wires on the engine harness that are no longer in use. I believe the AAR wire is one of those not needed anymore.

Use the appropriate phenolic spacers/gaskets for your heads at the intake bases. You will need a distributor to replace the one for djet. The pump powering tutorial works slick. Pump has it's own circuit. Get a good carb linkage.
