Porsche 914-6 race car
I have decided to sell my 914-6 race car so I can move onto my next build which will be a motorcycle engined P2 sports racer. I spent 12 years building this car and raced it for about 5 years. Engine
• 2.3 liter six, 66mm stroke x 86mm bore ; Zero hrs on the engine
• 10:1 compression, JE pistons with biral cylinders
• Dougherty Racing Cams DC60
• Zenith 40 TIN carbs with 40mm chokes
• Twin plug heads fired by two distributors
• Two MSD ignition boxes and coils
• 3 gallon oil tank for the dry sump system
• 4 rib oil pump
• Stock 2.0 liter rods with ARP bolts
Transmission
• 901 Porsche gearbox
• Open differential
• Gear ratios A, I, N, S, X
o These gears are good for Road Atlanta and Roebling Road
• Stainless flywheel with twin disc Tilton 7.25” clutch
Chassis
• Right hand drive
• Open cockpit
• Kirkey racing seat
• 1 ¾ , 0.095” thick main roll hoops
• Front suspension modified to lower and provide 1 degree negative chamber per one inch of compression
• Front shocks are Bilstein Scirocco ; 23mm front torsion bars
• Rear shocks Proshock
• Front sway bar
• 911 A type calipers on the front and 911 M type calipers in the rear
• Vented rotors
• Carbon fiber/ honeycomb doors, deck lids, and dash
• 15 gallon ATL fuel cell
• Car weighs with fluids 1700 lbs
• Car has a SCCA log book


Wheels and tires
• 2 BBS 7 x 15 currently on the front of the car
• 2 BBS 8 x 15, not used
• 2 Enkei 7 x 15 currently on the rear of the car
• 4 Compomotive three piece wheels with centers like the BBS’s
• Goodyear racing slicks, 23.5 x 9.5 x 15

Racers and want to be racers this is a heck of a price for a take to the track and drive 914.

Thanks John,

I built the car knowing an old fat guy was going to be maintaining it so I tried to make things easy. The engine and trans comes out by removing 10 bolts, two mounts are in front you cannot see. BTW the top of the dash comes off too so you don't have to crawl under to fix gauges.
