so i had tried everything, finally spoke with brad meyure about new relay board thinking this was the problem, but i took cover off of one relay and pressed down on the magnet, that activated the fuel pump so i knew board was good as well as pump.brad mentioned that one can put relay in 2 ways, obviously the right way is with pin 30 to single female socket with space around it.i thought it it would fit only one way-the right way.so i went back and checked and relays were wrong, now it all works fine.i think my original hesitation issue was not fuel related, but a dwell and timing issue.live and learn and make mistakes and learn.thanks for all the help.

Gotta love a guy like Brad who takes the time out of his day to help you solve a problem for free. he is a dying breed of talent and manners.
