What is the easiest way to remove the late model 75-76 914 Rear Bumper?

Look underneath. You'll see two holes in the rubber. Inside there are two bolts. Remove the bolts, push the rubber into the car to relieve pressure on the clips on the ends. Pull the ends away from the body then remove the rubber. the rest is self explanatory

I did this a few weeks back, and I agree, it is not difficult. Just be careful with the license plate lights and wiring (unless you're planning on replacing).
